STERLIZATION AND INFECTION CONTROL

Step 1: All the instrument are washed and scrubbed thoroughly and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaning device.

Step 2: The diagnostic instrument are then immersed in 5% gluteraldehyde solution (Korsolex Solution).

Step 3: The cold sterile instrument are then packed in individual color coded sterile packs.

Step 4: After packing instrument in color coded sterile packs, instrument are placed in autoclave unit (steam under pressure) for standard sterilization.
