Dr. Anupam Sinha completed his dentistry at KLES Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum in 2001 and went on to pursue his Masters’s degree in the Department of Orthodontics at SDM Dental College, Dharwad. The years at Dharwad gave him tremendous exposure to orthodontic management of complex cases including cleft lip and cleft palate patients, under the city of New York’s Smiletrain program, as well as orthognathic surgical cases. An alumnus of DPS R.K Puram, three years later, with a Masters’s degree under his belt, he returned to New Delhi and worked at what he is the best in Orthodontics.
Besides caring for patients at Orion Orthodontic & Dental Care Centre, Dr. Anupam works as a consultant orthodontist in various hospitals and dental offices in and around Delhi. Simultaneously he is also involved in academics, and lectures at a dental college and hospital where he holds the post of Associate Professor.
A diligent academician, his thesis work won the National Best Research Award in 2005. Apart from Orthodontics, Dr. Anupam has a keen interest in dental implantology and has worked extensively in this field.
Soft-spoken and pleasant, Dr. Anupam is a perfectionist and ensures that he gives the very best treatment to each of his patients. His confidence, sincerity, and patience ensure a high comfort level, key ingredients in making the dental experience a comfortable one. His genuineness in doing what’s right by the patient, and keen aesthetic sense make all his patients very satisfied with the end results of his endeavors.
A huge fan of The Lonely Planet, when not caring for his patients, Dr. Anupam enjoys traveling to unusual destinations along with his wife Dr. Natalia. He occupies himself in his free time reading, catching up on the latest blockbusters, and playing squash.
Dr. Natalia DeSilva was born to a Russian mother and Goan father, and grew up in Belgaum, a town situated close to Goa. After graduating from KLES Institute of Dental Sciences Belgaum in 2001, Dr. Natalia entered the prestigious SDM College of Dental Sciences at Dharwad where she topped the University during the 3-year Masters’s Programme. She worked in a dental college in Pune for 2 years before moving to Delhi to marry her college sweetheart Dr. Anupam.
In Delhi, Dr. Natalia continues to study and explore the field of dentistry. She is very active in academics and is an Associate Professor at a dental school where she trains dental students in the field of Oral Medicine, Diagnosis, and Radiology. Her interest and studies have more recently concentrated on digital 3D imaging with the use of CBCT technology, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, oral cancer, and TMJ pain and bite problems.
Dr. Natalia genuinely takes the time to get to know each and every one of her patients one-on-one. She has been commended for the excellent way in which she explains the entire problem and carefully takes every patient through the whole procedure, Her cheerful demeanor, and vivacious personality go a long way in making you feel comfortable at the clinic. Dr. Natalia is very good at handling children at the dental clinic and is also an expert at managing patients with serious medical conditions that require careful treatment considerations. She strongly believes in Alternative Medicine as an adjunct to managing her patients and is currently undergoing extensive training in Acupuncture and Acupressure to help balance out the side effects of oral medication.
The only Russian-speaking Dentist in Delhi, when not caring for her patients, Dr. Natalia enjoys spending time with her husband Dr. Anupam. In her free time, she enrolls in programs that help street dogs, enjoys playing the piano and the guitar, plays basketball, and makes candles!
